Samhain: Our Night at the Crossroads

Samhain is the Witch’s New Year—a sacred threshold when the old year passes into the new and the veil between worlds grows thin. It is a night to remember those who came before us, honor the mysteries of death and renewal, and enter the crossroads with reverence.

Join us for a formal Hekatean rite centered around ancestor remembrance, sacred communion, and the turning of the Wheel. Together, we will purify ourselves for ritual, open the crossroads, and invoke Hekate as the Guardian and Guide between worlds. Within the crossroads, each person will have an opportunity to name and honor their ancestors through a candle rite, followed by a guided trance and blessing with Raina.

This is a focused night of reverence, magick, and deep ritual—and a celebration of the path we share as witches.

• Closing of the crossroads
• Communal remembrance and gathering after ritual

What to Bring

Please bring an ancestor token for the altar. This may be a photograph, heirloom, or the written name of an ancestor you wish to honor.

Wear Your Robes or Witchy Attire

This is our night. Come robed, cloaked, veiled, or dressed in your witchiest attire. Ritual robes, ceremonial clothing, and black layers are warmly encouraged. Let the night reflect the witch and priestess within you.

Evening Schedule

• Check in downstairs at Hekates Torch beginning at 6:15 PM
• Doors to the Temple open at 6:30 PM
• Ritual begins promptly at 6:45 PM
• Ritual concludes at approximately 8:00 PM
• Community gathering continues downstairs in the store afterward

Incense and open flame will be used during the rite. Please arrive grounded, prepared, and ready to enter sacred space. Once the crossroads have been opened, no late entry will be permitted.
