When the torches of Hekate flicker in the dark and the air hums with quiet power, we gather at the Crossroads — the place between worlds, between what has been and what is yet to come.
Known in antiquity as a night of offerings at the crossroads, Hekate’s Night is a time of renewal, cleansing, and divine guidance. It is said that Hekate walks between worlds on this night, carrying her torches to light the way for souls and seekers alike.
To honor her is to align yourself with the cycles of death and rebirth, shadow and flame — the eternal rhythm of transformation.
On November 14th, we honor Hekate Propylaia, Guardian of the Thresholds and Keeper of the Keys. This ancient holy night marks the time when offerings were left at the gates, crossroads, and doorways, asking Hekate to open the ways of truth, protection, and transformation.
Through candlelight and chant, we step into sacred space to meet the Goddess who walks beside the wanderer and guides the witch through the shadowed path.
🕯️The High Priestess will open the circle and invoke Hekate in her triple form.
🔑 Consecrate personal keys as talismans of guidance and protection, to open the doors meant for us and close what must remain behind.
🍯 Offer traditional gifts of honey, garlic, and egg to honor her and the spirits who walk her ways.
🌑 Step symbolically through the crossroads — leaving behind what is finished and calling in Hekate’s torch to light our next path.
You will leave with a charmed key, blessed beneath her name, carrying the energy of safe passage and clear direction through the dark of winter. Hekate’s Torch invites you to step across the threshold, lay your offering at her feet, and walk forward with your own torch lit by her hand.
This is a sacred gathering — intimate, immersive, and guided by devotion to the Goddess of the Crossroads.
**Please bring a small key (we also sell them here) and your intention for what you wish to open, protect, or release. All other materials will be provided.
**Please check in downstairs inside the store first. You are also welcome to hang in there if you are early. Doors to the temple will open at 6:25pm. Ritual will formally begin at 6:40pm, at which time the doors will be locked so as not to disturb the ritual boundary.
Please arrive grounded, prepared, and ready to enter sacred space. Once the crossroads have been opened, no late entry will be permitted.
